Colour
Each diamond is unique. Depending on your preference and budget, diamonds scale from colourless to Fancy Yellow. A colourless diamond is white, while a Fancy yellow diamond has a rich yellow tone. There are 23 colour grades ranging from D (colourless) to Z (light colour). The most highly regarded white diamonds are completely colourless or close to it. Most Royal de Versailles' diamonds range between D and G - the rarest and most sought-after grades.

Clarity
Clarity measures the number, size, position, blemishes, and colour of inclusions captured within the surface of a diamond. Royal de Versailles' diamonds are exceptionally pure meaning many are flawless or display minute inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye.
Carat Weight
Carat weight determines the weight of the diamond and its size. Determining your budget and trying on different weights is a great first step to discovering the carat weight that is right for you. The diamond's proportions also factor into the diamond's appearance, so it is important to consider cut and shape when making your choice.
Cut
The majority of our stones are triple excellent cut, which means that polish, symmetry and cut are all ranked "Excellent" as opposed to "Good" or "Fair". "Excellent" cut is considered the ideal cut to acquire for a round brilliant stone. Cut is different from shape in that it pertains to the workmanship of the diamond. Our gemologists and jewellery specialists have the best skills and knowledge to select a perfectly balanced silhouette and symmetrical diamond.
Shape
