The Official Timekeeper of the 2022 Winter Olympics Launches Two Special Models

The official timekeeper of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, OMEGA has launched two new models to celebrate the world’s best winter athletes as they compete on the world stage: The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300 M Co-Axial Master Chronometer 42 mm and the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 M Co-axial Master Chronometer 41 mm.

The Seamaster Diver 300 M Co-Axial Master Chronometer 42 mm

The colour of the dial of the OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300 M was carefully selected for it’s cool tone, to reflect the exceptional athletic performances in temperatures below zero. The special presentation box in white, the colour of snow, was also carefully selected to reflect the environment in which we see the competing athletes thrive.

The Seamaster Diver 300 M 42 mm watch is crafted from stainless steel and includes a grade 5 titanium bezel ring with a diving scale in positive relief. On the sun-brushed blue ceramic [ZrO2] dial, you will find laser-engraved waves along with rhodium-plated indexes and hands filled with Super-LumiNova.

As a special tribute to Beijing 2022, there are also five special minute-markers at 2H, 4H, 8H, 10H and 12H, with each one created in the five colours of the iconic Olympic Rings.

Finally, the polished and brushed caseback includes a stamped Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 emblem, while OMEGA’s patented NAIAD LOCK system keeps all the engravings in perfect alignment. Behind the caseback sits the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, guaranteeing the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance and magnetic resistance.

Also delivered inside the special Olympic Games presentation box, the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 M Co-axial Master Chronometer 41 mm watch is built in stainless steel and includes a white ceramic dial with a special frosted finish pattern and date display. The hands and diamond-brushed indexes are blued and filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the colour red is used for the “Seamaster” name and the four quarter numbers on the blue minute track.

On the caseback, OMEGA has included a stamped Beijing 2022 emblem, surrounded by a wave-edged design. The watch is set on a stainless steel bracelet with OMEGA’s patented screw and pin system, and is driven by the impressive OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900.
